The problem
What it solves for a business
For: Marketing teams, founders and agencies who want their brand to show up when customers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI for recommendations.
- Customers now ask ChatGPT which tool to buy, and we have no idea whether we are named.
- Monitoring tools tell us we are losing a prompt but not what to change.
- Tracking more than three AI engines on the leading tools costs hundreds of dollars a month.
How it works
BrandInAIAnswers, step by step
- 01
Run the free audit
Enter your site to get a crawlability score, an AI-bot access check against robots.txt and sample answers.
- 02
Add brand and prompts
Add your brand, competitors and markets; it suggests prompts with an estimated volume.
- 03
Measure
Runs your prompts across answer engines and reports visibility, position, sentiment, share of voice and cited sources, each with a confidence range.
- 04
Get the fix plan
Lost prompts are ranked by estimated answers lost per month.
- 05
Write the fix
For each lost prompt it writes a content brief, page, JSON-LD and FAQ, or rewrites a page on your own domain, plus an outreach list of sites the engines cite.
- 06
Re-measure
After you publish, it tracks the URL and re-measures to show the change.

Why switch
Advantages over Peec AI
It writes the fix
Peec reports where you lose. BrandInAIAnswers also drafts the brief, page, schema and FAQ, and ranks what to fix first.
Pay only for the checks
The product is free. Engine checks are charged at the vendor's cost with no markup, from a prepaid credit; with no credit, runs use labelled demo data and cost nothing.
Numbers with ranges
Every visibility figure is shown with a 95% confidence range, so a small sample is not mistaken for a trend.
Sees the crawlers too
Checks which AI bots can reach your site, generates llms.txt and logs bot visits and AI referral traffic.
Features

Use cases
How teams use BrandInAIAnswers
SaaS losing a buying prompt
A SaaS marketer sees a competitor named for 'best cold email tool' and gets a brief, an FAQ and a list of the review pages the engines cite.
Agency reporting
An agency tracks several clients, gives each a read-only login and exports CSVs for monthly reports.
Pre-sale check
A founder runs the free audit to see whether AI bots are blocked in robots.txt before spending on content.
Fixing an existing page
A content lead pastes a product page URL and gets a rewrite that passes the checks it failed.
Under the hood
Where AI is used, and where it is not
The model
Analysis, sentiment and fix writing run on Qwen3.8-27B on Surge's own AI server (at most 2 calls at once), with Claude as fallback only. Answer engines are queried through their own APIs (ChatGPT by default through DataForSEO) when keys and customer credit exist.
Rules and code
Code computes visibility, position, share of voice and the Wilson confidence ranges, ranks the fix plan, restricts page rewrites to the brand's own domain (SSRF-guarded), checks robots.txt for 17 bots, debits credit at cost and falls back to labelled demo data when there is no credit.
People in the loop
The user picks prompts and competitors, reviews every brief, page and pitch, and publishes or sends them; the MCP 'write_fix' tool only creates drafts.
