Where AI is used, and where it is not
The model
Qwen3.8-27B on Surge's own AI server first (thinking off, at most 2 calls at once); Claude Sonnet 5.5 only as a fallback when the local server fails; a deterministic demo writer for seed data and tests.
Rules and code
Code decides the number guard (every figure must exist in a source), schema validation, ad text length limits, internal-link rules (at most one link per 150 words, no self-links, never in headings), the publish block, at-cost wallet debits and refunds, and the cron schedule (skips 02:00-06:00 IST).
People in the loop
Users approve the content plan, can review each article and its claim-by-claim verdicts before publishing, and choose whether autopilot publishes. Backlink pitches are drafts the user sends themselves.
