The problem
What it solves for a business
For: B2B marketing and sales teams that get website traffic and want to know which companies are behind it, including teams with EU or Indian visitors.
- Most website visitors leave without filling a form, so we never learn which companies looked.
- Visitor tools charge per identified visitor and surprise us with overage.
- Person-level tracking of anonymous visitors creates legal risk under GDPR and India's DPDP Act.
How it works
VisitorCompanyFinder, step by step
- 01
Add one script
Paste the pixel on your site and pick a consent mode (strict mode stores nothing before consent).
- 02
Match the company
Each visit's IP range is matched to a company; consumer ISPs, mobile, cloud and VPN ranges are filtered out instead of guessed.
- 03
Score intent
Each account gets a 0-100 score from hot pages, engaged time, return visits, AI-search arrivals and opted-in form fills, with a 14-day half-life.
- 04
Brief the rep
Hot accounts get a three-line AI brief and an opening line that never mentions tracking.
- 05
Alert and hand off
Rules send hot accounts to Slack, Teams, a webhook or your cold-email tool.

Use cases
How teams use VisitorCompanyFinder
Pricing-page visitors
Sales gets a Slack alert when a target company reads the pricing page twice in a week.
AI-search traffic
Marketing sees which companies arrive from ChatGPT or Perplexity answers and which pages they land on.
Outbound follow-up
Hot accounts go to the cold-email tool through a signed webhook.
EU or Indian audience
A site with European or Indian visitors runs strict mode so nothing is stored before consent.
Under the hood
Where AI is used, and where it is not
The model
Surge's own Qwen server (qwen3.8-27b) first, Claude as fallback, then a template; used for account briefs and openers.
Rules and code
Code does company matching, ISP/VPN filtering, the 0-100 score and decay, alert rules and consent handling. Only company-level facts are sent to the model, and openers are barred from mentioning tracking.
People in the loop
The rep decides whether and how to reach out; alert rules and ICP filters are set by the team.
