Use case
Payment follow-ups for B2B businesses, without awkward calls
The problem
What gets in the way
- Payment follow-up depends on one person remembering to call every customer.
- Reminders feel awkward, so they are sent late or not at all.
- Nobody can see at a glance which invoices are overdue and who was reminded when.
Products
What helps
Collections inside OrderDak: reminders, payment matching and a clear overdue view.
Part of OrderDak: free for your first 3 months, then pay only for what you use.
Step by step
How to do it
- 1
Sign in with OrderDak
Collections uses the same account as OrderDak. Switch the module on.
- 2
Import invoices
Bring in outstanding invoices from Tally. A blank due date uses your default terms and is flagged.
- 3
Set the tone and schedule
Choose how often and how firmly reminders go out. The first message is never a final notice.
- 4
Record payments
Payments are matched to invoices, and the same UTR cannot be used twice.
Be sure
When Surge Software is not the right tool
Collections is not a legal recovery service, and it does not call customers by phone. For disputed amounts, talk to your lawyer.
FAQ
Questions
Is Tagaada a separate product?
Not any more. It is now the Collections module of OrderDak, with one sign-in.
Will re-importing invoices lose payments?
No. Payments recorded in Collections are kept when you import again.
What does it cost?
Free for your first 3 months, then pay only for what you use, at our cost.
